A kitten is a sexy stagehand that supports performers and hosts with act setup and prop removal before and after each performance! Kittening is a fantastic way to dip your toe into Burlesque if you’re curious!

We pay our two producers, videographers, photographers, performers, hosts, kittens, and, most times, venues. After production costs, we evenly split ticket sales among performers, hosts, and kittens. Each performer keeps their tips. We have a Cash Bunny who also collects tips during the night and splits them among performers, hosts, and kittens. We try not to pay performers anything less than $100 for the night. Every participant must sign a contract agreeing to the terms we both set to ensure everyone feels comfortable with payment expectations.

We accept a variety of acts. In the past, we’ve welcomed Vaudeville humor, striptease, lip-syncing, live singing, acrochair, baton twirling, and kink. Gorelesque and kink routines are specialized acts we only permit in spaces requiring safety and trigger warnings with a consenting audience.

We review applications when we receive Bookings from bars, venues, and other events to see which performer fits their request. If you have themed acts or signature tricks, you include in all your routines, this helps us determine your best fit. We then email you to let you know we’d like to hire you for a show.

We accept new and established performers, though we work with performers that most often have STAGE PRESENCE. We’re eager to help newbies, but all of our performers are confident on stage, engage our audiences, and respect our mission centered around diversity.

We recommend going to shows and immersing yourself in Burlesque culture. Join a Facebook group in your area, attend a drag/variety show, talk to other performers, and practice! There are lots of resources online that support folks first starting. We occasionally host workshops for newbies too.
